MEET CHRIS

My wife and I moved to Minnesota looking for community and a place where our budding family could enjoy the great outdoors.

As we established roots in our neighborhood, we’ve found friendship, adventure, opportunity and so much more. Both of our boys are thriving - the oldest in a nearby public school and our youngest in a vibrant montessori-style classroom. Our experience here strengthened our belief that everyone deserves a safe place to build and grow and continues to inspire my run as a progressive candidate for Golden Valley City Council in the 2025 election.

As an Eagle Scout, youth coach and passionate public servant, I will focus my energy on creating opportunities for the next generation, while protecting the characteristics of Golden Valley that have made it an amazing place to live, since 1886.

Through innovative planning, we’ll create housing options for neighbors of all backgrounds, while protecting key features of our charming residential neighborhoods. Improved local infrastructure will make our outdoor amenities more accessible and bring sales to the many small businesses that drive our local economy.

These changes take time, but I’m committed to finding a way forward. Let’s take a walk and talk about what matters to you.

COMMUNIty INVOLVEMENT

Chris believes that being part of a strong community means rolling up your sleeves and getting involved. You’ll often find him out helping clean and maintain local trails, coaching kids on the ski hill, leading youth basketball teams, pitching in with grassroots organizations, and supporting his children’s school through the PTA.
