Join LWVGV at our Candidate Forum for Golden Valley City Council on Wednesday, Sept 17, at 7 pm at Golden Valley City Hall. Written questions for the candidates will be accepted at the forum and also may be submitted to the Golden Valley's League email at lwvgv@lwvmn.org. The recording will be posted on the LWVGV's Facebook page and at vote411.org a day or two after the forum. The forum will also be livestreamed by CCX at https://ccxmedia.org/watch-live/.

Golden Valley Festival
After a brief hiatus, Golden Valley’s finest festival is back. With so many great bands, artists, activities, food trucks, beer, wine and other treats, it’s the can’t-miss fall festival for everyone in Golden Valley – and beyond!
Bring the family, shop art and fine crafts, listen to live music, enjoy fun activities for the kids, find your favorite food trucks and beer flights, and so much more.

Lawn Bowling Summer Fundraiser
Back by high demand, Senate District 43 will hold its fourth annual lawn bowling tournament fundraiser on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 6:30 PM. Check-In begins at 6:00 PM. The event, at Brookview in Golden Valley, has space for up to 14 teams. Funds raised will be used to support DFLers throughout the state.
$25 of each bowler's registration fee is eligible for the annual Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR), the Cheerleader fee is not eligible for PCR, and $75 of the Sponsor fee is eligible for PCR.
Each bowler must be pre-registered. Don't forget to list your teammates/team name when you register. Bowlers without a specified team will be randomly assigned to a team.
Sponsors get a designated table on the adjacent patio. They may bring materials or even sell items. Sponsors will also be recognized. The deadline to be featured on printed materials is July 16th.
